Pasta Evangelists brings fresh Italian flavours to Guildford’s
High Street.
Pasta Evangelists offers a modern Italian dining experience
inspired by regional Italian cooking. Known for its artisan fresh
pasta and bold, comforting flavours, the Guildford restaurant
has become a popular destination for relaxed lunches, date
nights and casual dinners with friends.
Golden Mandarin
Golden Mandarin has entered an exciting new chapter under new
management, continuing the long-standing tradition of Chinese
dining in one of the town’s most established restaurant locations.
A family-run restaurant at its core, Golden Mandarin is led by
Janet and Vincent, who took over the business a year ago. Janet
manages front of house, while Vincent, a chef with over 30 years
of experience, leads the kitchen. Supported by their children, the
restaurant is a true family operation, built on a shared passion for
hospitality and a desire to create something of their own after years
working in the industry.
The building has a rich history of celebrating authentic Chinese
cuisine, and today Golden Mandarin is building on that legacy with
a fresh approach and a strong focus on flavour. Although newly
relaunched, the restaurant is already gaining a reputation for its
bold and vibrant dishes.
The menu features a range of classic Chinese dishes alongside a
selection inspired by Malaysian cuisine, offering something a little
different for diners. With all sauces prepared in-house, Vincent
brings depth and character to every dish, creating rich, distinctive
flavours that set the menu apart.
This attention to detail and commitment to authenticity ensures a
memorable dining experience, blending tradition with a
modern touch.
Epsom Road
The menu features signature dishes such as slow-cooked ragùs,
indulgent baked pasta and vibrant seasonal specials, alongside
a curated drinks list of Italian wines and classic aperitifs.
Dishes are crafted using carefully selected ingredients and
authentic Italian recipes, bringing the spirit of Italy to the
town centre.
