The Lighthouse
The Lighthouse Guildford is a welcoming community hub in
the heart of town, offering a calm and friendly space where
people can connect, talk and feel at ease. Across the week, a
programme of courses, groups and open sessions run at various
times, giving guests the choice to drop in for a hot drink and a
sweet treat, or to book onto a relevant course, while enjoying
time in a relaxed, supportive environment.
The hub hosts a wide range of activities, including Mums and
Under 1s, a Bereavement Café, support for parents and carers
of children with additional needs, financial support, life-skills
courses, and creative opportunities focused on wellbeing and
connection. One of these is Men Matters, a weekly group that
brings men together in a supportive setting.
Rooted in the local community, The Lighthouse works closely
with other organisations across Guildford to respond to local
needs and reduce isolation. Whether someone is looking for a
structured course, friendly conversation, or simply a quiet place
to sit, The Lighthouse offers a warm and inclusive space where
